Mountain biking is a great way to explore the world and see new places. We are focused on helping you build strong mountain bike skills and improve your riding in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment so that you can go create your own mountain bike memories. Learning fundamental techniques and riding positions will help you balance and control your bike, navigate obstacles, descend, climb, and corner more effectively. Advanced riders will learn how to drop, jump and ride more technical terrain with confidence and flow. Let us help you achieve your riding goals or guide you on your next mountain bike adventure.
Our instructors are certified through both the BICP (Bicycle Instructor Certification Program) and PMBIA (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association), and are also trained in Wilderness First Aid and are CPR certified. Learn more about us.
The intermediate level clinic at Whitetail Ridge was terrific! I learned so much in two short hours, and had a blast while learning! Tara and Byron are
really great, friendly, and knowledgeable coaches. I highly recommend their clinics!"
Had a private session with Byron & Tara. They helped me learn skills that have helped me in my riding. More importantly, there focusing on learning the techniques behind those skills is paying dividends in my confidence for places I might have had trouble before. Thanks a bunch!"
Can I give more than five stars? They deserve 10. I had an amazing trip to Sedona!"
Our group had amazing time during our private lesson, Tara and Byron are
amazing instructors. They were calm, precise and clear on their instructing. The teaching environment was casual, it felt like you were out biking and hanging out
with friends, not once did I feel pressured or nervous to demonstrate a new skill
in front of the group. The lesson plan is based around your needs, because of that our group got the most out of our 3 hours, we left feeling much more confident hitting the trails without dying."
I could not be happier. Tara was patient and encouraging. Her instructions were clear. By the end of the session I was able to do much more than I expected."
Tara and Byron were amazing at being welcoming, presenting the material in a fashion that I could understand, demonstrating it clearly, having me execute until I could tell where I should be, and teaching me how to handle different situations and obstacles in a safe environment."
