Fitness and Technical Level

Fitness Level: Riders should be comfortable being out of the trail for 2.5 to 4 hours per day, riding at a moderate pace. Our guiding includes instruction allowing you to immediately apply your learning to the trails. Many routes will have 1,000 feet of climbing or more at an elevation of 4,300 feet. We will ride at a comfortable, consistent pace stopping to session features and taking breaks, and won’t be out to chase Strava PR’s.

Technical Level: Riders should have prior mountain bike experience and be able to comfortably control their speed and ride a variety of terrain including sand, rocks, or ledges. Our guides will tailor your guided ride to your experience level and will integrate instruction into your ride providing you the opportunity to immediately apply your skills to the trail.
